We are all facing change in our lives as we live under the requirements of a Pandemic Lockdown and in many cases working or living in isolation. I appreciate that for some essential services and businesses it has been necessary to keep working in order to keep our community safe, healthy and fed.
We all want to keep safe and have taken precautions to create a safe environment for ourselves in our “bubble” and those we come in contact with. As we move from Level 4 of the Ministry of Health Covid-19 Plan we need to consider how best to remain safe as our contacts increase. For many of us this will not only include us and our families, but keeping our staff, customers and others we come in contact with safe.
For this reason, as we move to the next stages of Covid-19 I wish to offer a temporary service of sanitising vehicles. I along with some other certified members of the International Detailers Association throughout New Zealand have met via web meetings to formulate a simple but effective three-step method to not only sanitise vehicles but to provide anti-viral protection for up to 30 days.
Ozone has proven itself to be a safe, reliable method of removing odours and creating a safe environment free of toxins and pathogens. There are no chemicals applied in this process, and Ozone treatment leaves no residue.
What is Ozone?
Ozone (O3) is a highly reactive gas composed of three oxygen atoms. This makes Ozone is a highly reactive substance that bonds with viruses and pathogens to quickly oxidise and kill them.
Surfaces and touchpoints are wiped down and cleaned in preparation for the surface protectant.
- 3 Antiviral surface protection
Surfaces within the vehicle have an Antiviral Surface Protectant applied which will last for up to 30 days. This means that if any contaminant comes in contact with the treated surface it will be rendered safe. This Antiviral protection can be reapplied as often as you like.
